Charley Hutton’s Color Studio was built and opened in 2009. The vision of Charley and his wife Teri, Charley Hutton’s Color Studio (CHCS) represents many years of hard work and dedication, and at the heart of it all a focus on family and faith. Located in Nampa Idaho, CHCS has quickly established itself as one of the leading custom car and restoration shops in the U.S.
With Charley at the lead, CHCS employs a shop crew of like-minded craftsmen. Blessed to partner with other premier shops in the industry, recent Charley Hutton’s Color Studio collaborations include the 2013 Ridler winner the 1940 Ford “Checkered Past”, and the 1967 Miranda Nova recipient of the 2014 Detroit AutoRama Ridler Great 8 and 2014 Good Guys Street Machine of the Year.
Though award-winning custom cars can quickly take center stage, CHCS is also well known for their restoration work. Restorations represent a different challenge from the custom cars for Charley as they are rooted in his love of history and appreciation for the evolution of the automotive industry. Recent CHCS restoration projects include a 1967 Cherokee Camaro, 1967 427 SC Cobra, and 1966 275 GTB Ferrari.
Many amazing cars have graced the bay doors of Charley Hutton’s Color Studio, and we hope you check back frequently to see future award winners and restored masterpieces as they pass through!
